The first release from the minimalist music project In the making by German singer Christian Ronig and Greek pianist Yann Keerim. Ein kleines weites Meer is a cover version of the Greek classic “Mia thalassa mikri” by one of Greece’s most popular contemporary songwriters Dionysis Savvopoulos. The original lyrics were translated by Ronig into his mother tongue German.

By listening back to these first Subtonics nights I realized we were in a certain state of mind, creating instant compositions on stage. We picked up a few and recorded them a few months later while trying not to loose the actual vibe.
